Stiftung Künstlerdorf Schöppingen

Schoppingen 2013

I’m glad to be back to my past home where I was a student in Germany. This AIR took me to an area I have never been in Germany. I got two-floor room at artist’s village in Schoppingen, NWR, Germany and slowly speak Deutsch again!! The place is perfect for me to learn about renewable energy, since I’m curious what else we can generate electricity without create such a large impact to environment. Schoppingen is an area that tries to turn everything to generate electricity, wind, sun, gas from plants. It’s amazing. I can see pro and con of wind turbine, gas from plants and solar cell energy. It is still not the ideal solution… I just found out there is an immigration camp in this area too. From here we can drive to Holland’s border so easily, it’s also good for those who interested in border issue.
