แนวความคิด / Concept
ผลงานชิ้นใช้ข้อความบางส่วนที่ได้มาจากการถอดบทสนทนาและภาษาพูดสำเนียงท้องถิ่นของคนต่างวัยต่างอาชีพ บทสนทนาเหล่านี้สะท้อนถึงความสัมพันธ์และความผูกพันของคนในครอบครัว ที่มีความหลากหลายทางวัฒนธรรม รวมทั้งความคิดเห็นของพวกเขาที่มีต่อภาวะสังคม การเมือง และสิ่งแวดล้อม ทั้งสำเนียงภาษาท้องถิ่นและภาพสะท้อนชีวิตเหล่านี้ต่างเป็นสิ่งที่มีอยู่แต่ถูกกดทับด้วยอยู่ เรามีโอกาสมองเห็นมันแค่เพียงแวบเดียวดั่งเช่นการขับรถผ่านข้อความเหล่านี้ที่แสดงตัวในเวลาสั้นๆเมื่อเราขับรถผ่านไป
The work transcribed some part of dialogs from villagers in Nakorn Ratchasima or Korat Province. They reflect relation in family within diverse culture, agriculture, disaster, lifestyle, belief, political response, immigration and more throughout Thailand. I transcribed them in the Thai alphabet but in a phonetic way in order to reveal the local dialect to be seen and pronounced. The accents exist, but we rarely experience it. In this installation, the dialog is visible only when a car drive passes it with a light on.
